Left home at 5am yesterday morning driving through ice and snow to get to Coburg Wharf ready for launch at 07.00.

It was bitterly cold out in the middle of the river with nowhere to hide from the freezing wind unless you stood braced by the wheel house

Our target fish was Cod but only three showed up in the last hour of the trip the best one weighing 8lb 10oz
Lots of really good Whiting were caught all day along with some nice plump Dabs























Although it was bitterly cold with the odd shower of hail thrown in for good measure we stayed dry and thankfully Simon being the top skipper that he is kept the hot brews coming
