Anglesey sunday 27th august <a href=Anglesey sunday 27th august Pbucket" />Well Saturday morning came & we set off bright & early for Anglesey arrived at Cristos just in time to help with the hay making with that done we spent the rest of the day putting a few things on the boat & getting ready for a days bassing on sunday. We didn't bother trawling eel & instead chose to use frozen could have been our undoing I think as we had one bass or Cristo did first drop in after that dog & mackerel were all we had I have never seen as many tiny mackerel with shoals of big ones feeding on them before it was rammed with them in the straits. That may have had something to do with it also but it was great to get my boat out again after a bit of a lay off we all got a bit burned with the sun looked like four tomatoes when we had done bass or no bass a good weekend all in all only photo I took this time Anglesey sunday 27th august PbucketAnglesey sunday 27th august Th_GOPR0074_x264_001_zpsdupmfmqg

Nice try Tatch,do you reckon the Mackerel are all through the straits?
I've been waiting for this wind to drop to get my boat out.
It's a toss up between Rhyl harbour and Ronnies on the Straits, what do you reckon?
Think it's a good idea to drop anchor near Port Dinorwic and fish there?
I'm a bit to new to using the boat,so I wouldn't fancy chancing going over the bar.
It'll be my first time out in my own boat.
I'll have to have a tractor launch because I'm a bit immobile.I'll have my brother with me,but he's new to the game.

Love spotting boats on the A55 and wondering where they are headed for!
