| Got a trip booked out of Oban in May, so hopefully one of the better Skate they have up there will put in an appearance. From the shore I hope to improve on the small Thornie and Smoothound I had this year.
May all ya fish be big uns in 2017. |

| With my dodgy foot, beach fishing is an impossibility.Haha, following the tide in and out would probably get me in the headlines.(Old tosser caught by the tide) I just missed out getting my boat out at the end of summer, but next spring I will be out there. It's the only way I will be able to go fishing. Probably run down as far as Rhos on sea from rhyl. I fancy trying Rhosneigr, some great looking spots a mile down to the left.

| Been fishing now since summer 2015 so I have a bit over a year under my belt. Learned a bit but not a lot in the big scheme of things, cut my teeth on the Glynn wall in Blackpool, the Mersey and beach's across Wales oh and Holyhead breakwater. Had a go at Ty Croes but blanked. This year I want to get some bigger fish! Largest this year was a bass, doggie and a nice wrasse. These were not big in any sense of the word but still happy with them. Come spring I am going to try and "target" species, big or small. My wish list for this year is: Conger, Huss, Ray and a bigger bass. As usual 2 rods fishing, one as normal with a 2 hook flapper and one with pennel big bait in the "right" marks. Hopefully learned enough to bag most on the wish list, some serious camping on the Lynn and Anglesey this year lol |
