Our most distant member Rhod Lloyd is over here from New Zealand



and where better to rest from his journey than the spiritual home of Sunny Rhyl

The forecast wasn't good and proved sadly accurate as we met up at Splash Point





Terry kindly brought Rhod his spare rod rest






The crabs were hungry,
First blood to me!


Unfortunately it was also second blood to me!


Now and again a baitfish jumped a few yards out and birds dived.

Terry tried the feathers whilst a seal popped up 20 yards out and disappeared just before the photo



Kevin came down to say Hi



The rain never stopped and sadly the fish never started but it was great to meet up with you Rhod and as you said you did as well as the locals!

Hard luck on the fishing lads . It was a horrible day ..

hard luck lads not the best weather for fishing

Well done for trying everyone. We traveled down to Dorset and it rained most of the way down and was raining so hard when we arrived I delayed unpacking fo an hour until it eased off.

Think we took the sun with us but don't worry we brought it back again
