No bright rod here!

I had a few hours on the bullshead today
with not a bright rod insight my eyes could
focus on normal colours      
I was thinking of going to the canal
to do a little lure fishing for pike and perch
but thought i'd have more chance of a
fish on the bullshead.



I didn't have a bad little sess I caught 20+ perch a couple of roach
and a small mirror carp





I did put a livebait out for a pike but I didn't even
have a sniff



When I was walking out I seen a rotting dead pike which was a shame
to see  it wasn't a big pike but look at the teeth on it



And before everyone asks no cole wasn't with me and I caught them all myself

so where's the Bullshead,is it from the Bullshead pub in Reddish?
Talked to a lad on the marina,he gets there early doors after his night shift,he said he never fails.
He had some nice fish on his camera.Surprisingly,a nice Tench,which don't show often round there.
He said it goes off about noon,with just the odd fish now and then.

Yeah the meetings are in reddish working men's club but
Your mate is right some cracking fish in their and I
Always find the fishing goes off around 1:00ish till 3:30ish
