Many of our readers will know or know of Rhyl's John Povah.
Sadly John passed away today and we extend our sympathies to his family.

Very sorry to hear that, I used to crew for John back in the sixties, a great skipper and a lovely bloke, he knew every inch of the waters around here and could put us on the same marks every time, years before GPS had been dreamt of.
