I had another trip to the dark side today with ben
on the bullshead. After a decent sess last time
we were on there I was hoping the carp were
biting.

Ben was the first to catch this nice bream cth

Followed by a tiny blank saving roach of me cheers

After catching a load of small roach and perch I caught this better perch
on a livebait roach at I put out for a pike. cheers

Ben was bagging up on bream with almost a fish a cast at one point  cheers

After that bream was netted I seen my pike float go under which ended up being another perch

The fishing went dead then out of the blue BANG! ben's float shot under
we both thought it was a carp with the way it was fighting but ended
up being another big perch  cheers

No carp or pike caught this time even my lucky santa socks let me down   affraid  affraid

But we caught plenty of fish so a good day all in all  Rock on  Rock on

Great to see the "traditional" coarse fish many of us caught before somebody invented carp fishing!
