I thought I would give Wormy's Pennel Rig another outing.
Using it this time for it's intended target, Bass!

Fresh Lug and a 4oz gripper cast as far as I could muster, just beyond the breakers on the other side of the Notbad Gully.

It was like a millpond. Bite detection was going to be obvious tonight if it happens!

My bait was getting stripped on each cast.
A foul hooked Shrimp was all I had to show for 2 hours 'not so hard' effort.

Dead on low, a proper rod bend managed to get my attention.
Fish on!!!!!
No monster, but this little fella was my best Bass of the year.
Duly returned to fight another day.

Dusk came and went but that was it.
