PostSubject: Blue Moon   Blue Moon EmptySun Mar 20, 2016 7:38 pm

Having a blown tyre on my machine today I was left with a free afternoon.

So I grabbed my bait from the caravan freezer and went down to Seascale beach to fish the flood  fishing
The sun was blazing away  sunny  and the moon was shining too  scratch

I found a promising looking gully to cast into using Razor, Lug and Mackerel baits

The soft Razor baits were disappearing faster than a politicians promise thanks to this chap and his mates

After several casts without a bite I tipped the Razor with little chunks of Mackerel which almost caught me a flatty but it dropped of just as it broke the surface
So apart from the Crab I blanked  Neutral

Good to be out though on a lovely day like this bye

Remember next time, you can't get fitter than a quick fit fitter.

Or forget it and go fishing ( good choice)

The rocks in that gully look a likely spot for a few peelers when it gets a bit warmer, fresh bait on tap. Very Happy Very Happy

There's no shortage of rocks and rock pools at the high tide mark, should be well worth a look Smile
A little bit further up at Drigg on the rocky scar they find Lobster in some of the pools Exclamation
