With todays birthday meet being cancelled I thought i'd have
a little match with a few of the lads on here.
The rules were
simple biggest fish
but with the weather
being bad all weekend I couldn't see anyone wetting a line
Dave could only fish Friday but the weather was to bad for
him to get out
Then it was Joe's turn to brave the elements heading of to carnvon (waterloo port)
And taking the lead with this little codling weighing in at 7oz
Saturday was to bad to fish and sunday morning was crap aswell but their
was a brake in the weather mid day today so that was me of to the canal
it was still blowing abit but their was no rain
And then BANG! something nailed my plug
This little feller around 1lb 3oz
We wasn't the only one fishing
After seeing my pike simon dropped out saying that i was a far superior anglier than he was
and he had no chance catching anything that big
Next up was andy out on the river weever boat fishing
Looking good their with a luretach
But ended up giving his boat more of a run out than fishing (that's what he's saying anyway blanked)
With joe carp fishing today it was a nervous last hour knowing even a small carp
would end up beating my little pike but that was it i won
Thanks lads crap weather but we did make the most of it
