Pwllheli yesterday

Kev and I took a trip to Gimblet rock in search of some of the more exotic species yesterday, one of us had some success, but it wasn`t me. The water was clearer than I`ve ever seen it there, and bright sunshine made it hard fishing. There were about a dozen people feathering and spinning, but the only mackerel caught was Kev`s, which took an empty hook on the retrieve.
He also managed two of the targets, a red mullet and a tub gurnard, along with a few little dabs, while I carried on feeding the crabs alongside him, just managing to save the blank with one dab before we came home.




I forgot the blancmange to go with this one, the photo doesn`t do it justice, it was a couple of feet wide,

Just like falling off a bike, righto, see you all in 6 months!

Well done on the fish and some great pics,when the waters like that and the sun is shining you could be anywhere in the world great for a holiday but like you say not the best for fishing
