With a day still left on my 8 day coarse and trout licence from last week I decided on a couple of hours fly fishing at Tan-y-Mynydd above Abergele and was delighted to find two old acquaintances, Bryn and Neil on hand.
I am still very unpractised in this fluff chucking business and I sought their advice on flies, " anything green" was the suggestion ( well it is St Patrick's Day!) or egg fly or bloodworm patterns.
So I tried all three,
A couple of hours passed in no time.
Farm Pool seemed the most active with trout waving dorsal fins defiantly out of my casting range
Really enjoyed it but no fluff chucking fish to report!
