Well couldn't sleep all night was like a kid at Christmas chippy peter picked me up 7.30am & away we went for Easington its usually an hours run to hull but miles & miles of jams saw us arrive at anglers alley for bait around two plus hours later  Rolling Eyes  Shouldve known then what sort of day it was going to be  alien  any way from there straight to Easington got rods set up chucked out & found the tow a big problem couldn't hold for long even with 8oz  No  I tried fixed grips the lot throughout the day everybody was having the same problem. We ummed & arred  confused  over staying put or going to Whitby west or Scarborough in the end opting to stay put in case it eased as it filled up guess what it didn't it got worse  Rolling Eyes  Mad  then to cap it off the butt snapped on my flick tip  Rolling Eyes  Evil or Very Mad  what a flaming day just got back home looked on the Whitby forum & you guessed it the west it fished its nuts  off  Rolling Eyes  lol! Killer had ten cod to 9lb off on the plus side the rest of the Holderness didn't fair any better than us so heres a few pics of Easington & turmar bottoms for you Holderness coast easington Monday 19th January WP_20150119_005_zps7c4719e7Holderness coast easington Monday 19th January WP_20150119_006_zpscb09425aHolderness coast easington Monday 19th January WP_20150119_009_zps0dc59fc3Holderness coast easington Monday 19th January WP_20150119_010_zps2f16f825Holderness coast easington Monday 19th January WP_20150119_011_zps15d3a278Holderness coast easington Monday 19th January WP_20150119_016_zpse5a5ad47Holderness coast easington Monday 19th January WP_20150119_017_zpsa467f58fHolderness coast easington Monday 19th January WP_20150119_020_zps4c75c48cHolderness coast easington Monday 19th January WP_20150119_019_zpsb3bc11a3Holderness coast easington Monday 19th January WP_20150119_021_zps30af5e29

Great pic's looks like it was a sunny day sunny

What with all the traffic, lack of fish and your rod snapping it sounds like a trip to Hull and back lol!
