Ever so nearly a blank

I had a couple of hours over high this afternoon at Splash Point, the sea was a bit lively

Just when I was about to pack in on the ebb this little fellow came along to save the blank.

The close up disguises how small it really was

Looks a grey day

that surf looks good for a bass

Blank avoided

Main thing no blanko a little flattie is better than no flattie

I read something about some shades of grey somewhere , I thought it was about fishing.
