Mostyn quickie

I was on stand by for a lift that wasn't needed as it turned out so grabbed a few bits and went for a mooch about, first a look at Greenfield Docks and then back to Mostyn to see what it's like since they worked on the path.

With Llanerch Y Mor market not on and the car park shut off I turned up by Mostyn Clock Tower instead, no signs saying no vehicles so carried on, turning right towards
the "Fun Ship" there is one passing place but no real parking, the brambles were aggressive on my paintwork though



Turning round at the ship I had a look back down the other side towards the docks, there's parking big enough for a couple of cars a couple of hundred yards on the left and carrying on a little further parking for three or four more and room to turn, I didn't follow it any though as the brambles looked to be closing in again.

Thought I might as well have a couple of casts though the flood looked strong, bait frozen crab and a bit of lug, snagged up, lost a lead, moved a bit, insistent tip thumping action, fish on? snagged up again...grrrr! exciting for a few seconds anyway

not the best place to fish at high tide paul but at least you gave it a go well done you might have been better fishing greenfield dock with the tide coming in

Bad luck paul great picture of the fun ship when we drove passed
it on sunday it had been painted white on the front of the top part
I wonder if they are going to fix it up (it will be about time)

Were you using the correct beads or did you have the fish repellent ones like I was using on Sunday
