Well after a few phone calls from seaspirit we decided to have a day out from prestatyn and we got there nice and early and were soon on the water,it was a bit lumpy early on but had given to calm down at about half ten

We were soon out at the windfarm drifting around for some maccy,they were a bit scarce but we managed a few throughout the day aswell as some gurnard,whiting,dabs,dogs,huss and weevers it was another busy day in the sunshine

Great crate spot! The Sunny Rhyl archivist identifies it as the property of Dunsmore East Fishery Co Op of Waterford Eire

forgot to mention the markings on Andys gurnard,aswell as the blue fins(not showing in the photo) there was black marks with white spots on them witch i not seen before??????

The starfish are brittle stars, they easily loose arms, and for starfish can move fairly fast. They can be kept in a saltwater fish tank, and fed tiny bits of fish or worms. They usually hide under shells or rocks with just their arms searching for food.

thanks Rhod,have seen similar on the beach without the spines and yes one of the legs came off one and was wriggling like a ragworm

Get lots of brittle stars around Penmon.

I used to have a tank with a corkwing in and when i put some brittle stars in the corkwing scoffed them!
