I get N Wales police alerts on something called the "Owl" Thought I'd share this one I got today

In full view too!

RM14010529 – Theft from vehicle, stolen fishing equipment.

North Wales Police are appealing for information following a theft from motor vehicle, which occurred in a hotel car park in Llangollen Town Centre. The incident occurred sometime between 2030hrs and 2045hrs on Friday 1st August 2014.
Llangollen was very busy during the time of this offence, and the offence occurred close to Regent Street, so witnesses to the event are likely.
It is believed 2 males were involved with the theft; they made their escape in a small/medium sized white van with a distinctive black trim around the body work. The male thieves have smashed windows to gain access to the contents of the vehicle, after which they have stolen the following property:
• Costa Sunglasses
• STORM Fishing Box
• 2 fly bags and contents
• Boat Seat
• SIMMS Waterproof Jacket
• Prodry SIMMS jacket and trousers, grey and olive in colour.
• 3 x Sage 1 rods (Black fly rods)
• Aluminum SIMMS case from USA, very distinctive, with 'Sage' written on side.
• IM2750 STORM box, green heavy duty box with handle and wheels which includes 4 gold fly reels, 25 fly spools, fly lines, accessories
• Set of Hardy Demon Reels
• Large green fishing bag containing green bag of fly reels and spools, 9 boxes of flies, fish finder and various nets.
• Orvis Power Matrix fishing rod
• 9 Camping kettles
• Taylor Made Rocket Blade Golfing Irons and Bag

SOME OF THE ABOVE ITEMS ARE EXTREMELY DISTINCTIVE AND CANNOT BE OBTAINED IN THE UNITED KINGDOM; PLEASE BEAR THEM IN MIND WHEN BROWSING ON EBAY, AT CAR BOOTS OR SECOND HAND STORES

I hope Joe sees this report, he would be more likely to come across such gear, we of the sea fishing league would not come into contact with the stolen property, however Im sure we will all keep our ears open for such stuff being offered for sale.  Shocked   Shocked
