SEA VS FRESHWATER Empty
PostSubject: SEA VS FRESHWATER   SEA VS FRESHWATER EmptySun Jul 20, 2014 5:26 pm

A great idea from Stevo  Idea
Which team could catch the most weight of fish  Arrow

He was Pike fishing and I was heading to Talacre  fishing
Although a blank at Talacre is virtually impossible the chances were that if Steve or Cole hit just one single fish myself and Hari would potentially have a problem  Exclamation

Thankfully it wasn't a problem  cheers
(sorry Steve sorry Cole)

My first cast and I had a snap off, I hadn't noticed the loop of line that had caught up below my spool  Embarassed
I quickly set up another rig loaded with sticky old Lug and it was a fish a cast for my first three attempts  sunny

SEA VS FRESHWATER Lhlhlg10

Only 200g but a start  Cool

SEA VS FRESHWATER Lhlhlg11

2nd fish

SEA VS FRESHWATER Lhlhlg12

A little better at 300g

SEA VS FRESHWATER Lhlhlg13

3rd fish

SEA VS FRESHWATER Lhlhlg14

100g  Embarassed (just)

Hari's turn

SEA VS FRESHWATER Lhlhlg16

A double  Very Happy

SEA VS FRESHWATER Lhlhlg17

350g together

SEA VS FRESHWATER Lhlhlg18

Probably not the most accurate scales in the world but they suited the purpose for the day

SEA VS FRESHWATER Lhlhlg19

Hari was in again with a fish of 250g and my lost rig also  Very Happy

SEA VS FRESHWATER Lhlhlg20

Then another for me at 200g

SEA VS FRESHWATER Lhlhlg21

A single for Haz of 200g

SEA VS FRESHWATER Lhlhlg22

Followed by another brace weighing 350g on his last cast

SEA VS FRESHWATER Lhlhlg23

A surprise fish for me as I reeled in ready to pack away at 800g  Very Happy  Very Happy  Very Happy

SEA VS FRESHWATER Lhlhlg24
SEA VS FRESHWATER Lhlhlg25

Total weight of the 11 Dabs was 2750g or 6lb.1oz (I think scratch

Wasn't the best of tides for Talacre but as we know there's never a dull session there either  Very Happy
Thanks for the idea Steve  cheers
HAPPY  DAYS

The scales are a bit over the top for the fish you catch!
