A very very slow one

Sorry its a bit late   Seven of us fished the dee on saturday and the fishing was very poor can only put it down to very small tide allowing the crabs to strip our baits in record time and the amount of fresh water in the river,if i can think of any more excuses i will add them later any way first cast i had a plaice of 30cm then Andy had one of 28cm and we were off to a flyer but that was the only fish of the day for me,Andy managed three more plaice one of them 30cm and a snotty the other lads only managed a few bites between them

And that was it the tide turned and we called it a day,we could of fished the ebb but the crabs were on the baits as soon as they hit the bottom so we opted for a chippy tea and headed home

(Never tried the too much fresh water excuse before   I may now though   )
Great report ive had much worse sessions   
As for kissing the eel... why not   I've kissed plenty of
