Day 2 Sunday day time .....
Right at the end of shell is the bathing beach a very good high water mark for school bass , a bet it would be a good low water mark too. but never fished it at low......
There a very good gullie at high water but the tides weren't big enough to give it any depth ..
You can set your clock by the bass here they always turn up for a quick hours action just before high then after that,you got to wait till the next tide ....
The sea was very angry ,a bit to rough ,but there wasn't much weed so ,you got to be in it to win it ..
Fished one rod ,two hook flappers loaded with fresh blowlug....
Bang on time this mark very rarely let's me down if condishions are good ...
Good eating size at over forty cm .had one more missed bite ,than that was it action over..
Back to tent ,fire up the fire and cook my tea ...
Washed down with a few shots ..happy days
There something about the cave men in us that never goes eating what you catch to me is the best bit of fishing and camping they go hand in hand ....
Day three I missed the morning tide because I wonted to chill ,never seen shell so empty had the whole field to my self ,witch was nice ,but I do like to talk to people and started feeling a bit like a hermit lol....
Never seen so many rabbits ,and hares on there this year there was loads ..very nice to see the hares ,tried ages get a photo of them but they wouldn't let me get anywhere nr them unlike the rabbits ,then on my last day I managed to get so close to them .for some reason they let me !
Day three session bathing beach high water again tea time ,fished one hour before high ....
Waited till the right time lobbed in my two hook flapper loaded with blow ,sat down baiting up my next rig looked at my rod it was soon dancing in the tripod ..
Then lost another about half hr after this one ,back to tent to feed my face agin lol ..fresh bass life doesn't get no better
