Greenodd & kingfisher Sunday the 20th April

We had a trip up to greenodd yesterday horrendous wind no water on arrival & none when there should have been an old chap pulled in & sat there half an hour then came & told us he was just waiting to see if the tide came before getting his fishing gear from home he stayed a while longer & offered to show us the way to another mark called kingfisher as he was going that way. where there would be water at least as we got out of the motor the lad to our left was just pulling a triple shot of flatties out & so were the two lads to the right great stuff I thought rushing to get a rod set up all three of us got two rods each in the water & awaited a bite the lads either side were hammering doubles & trebles out but we weren't even getting bites so when the water disappeared we packed up this was when Dave realised he had left his holdall at greenodd complete with bass rod & reels so we rushed back not expecting to find it still there after an hour & a half but there it was another old guy had arrived as we left & kept it by him incase we came back very good of him. While we were at kingfisher the tide had arrived & he had caught three nice flatties. & he said there was about an hour & a half left so off we went again the guy had two more flats but when time to pack up came we hadn't had a bite even so yet another disasterous day & my blanking continues

Its strange to say the least its like Ive been cursed yet I can hammer fish out of the res & rivers weird

hard luck tatch we all have a bad run at some time but its nice when it comes to an end and hopefully yours will end soon. nice report and pics

Have you tried using beads    

Tuff luck I know the feeling but if you stick at it you will catch a Crab or two I promise you I always do. Dave loves his beads.
