billy dodd invited me out again on his boat tight lines so i jumped at the offer and met up with him at 9-00am.
the plan was to see if any bass were around yet so we launched at psc around 10-00am and went out to the sand bank. the weather was warm and the sea flat calm and there were two other boats out
the fishing was a bit slow but billy was first in with a little dab
then i managed a little coddling
billy decided to try over a bit of rough ground so we went a bit closer in to to give it a go. with nothing doing
we went off to another sand bank straight out from the light house at talacre you always get fish at talacre.
straight away we were into fish only dabs and whiting but a bit of none stop action to keep us warm as it
had gone a bit dull and a bit colder
4-00pm soon came round and time to head back in bass less but there is always next time.
when we got back in we had a chat to the other lads that had been out and it was the same with them dabs whiting and codling but no bass.as always a great day out no rain and good company. i can see i will have to work on my smile for the photo's i look like i am in pain
thanks again to billy for the trip out
