The first gathering

Well it was time for our clubs first monthly gathering and we decided to fish the blue bridge at shotton as other parts of the coast are a bit slow at the mo,we arrived just before low water armed with frozen and refrozen blacks

On his first cast after a 15min wait Danshrekman had a bite and connected with this flounder of 40cm


A good fish but was spent as were all the fish we caught,after this the fishing was a bit slow but we did manage a few more between us







A few fish were landed in the  short time we were there the biggest going to me,a flounder of 42cm

Happy days,all in all it was a great night out with the lads with a good bit of banter as you can imagine

hi mate lots of eels and the odd sea trout and been told of pin whiting but not had any myself from that stretch cheers andy
