Bait raped!!

Well we were going to go on seaspirits boat on sunday but after the weather check on saturday night we decided that it wasnt going to be,so after hearing about the run of cod in the mersey and rays being cought we decided that we would give perch rock another go,when we got there it was raining,2 hrs in it was still raining so not many pics and not much to report really,managed a few small coddling and whiting between us but it was hard work fishing through the crabs,there was plenty of others out that must of had the same idea


We started checking our baits every 15 mins and they were coming back empty so we cut it down to 10 mins and it was the same,we were catching crabs two at a time,dont think the fish had much of a chance
I had the biggest crab of the night with this

anyway we packed up after 3 1/2 hours (still raining) and made our way back to the car,we got talking to some other lads and they had much the same result and said it was the same all along the beach

Well done good try but not a lot you can do about the Crabs I've got so ointment that helps. Great report and good pictures.

great report and pics shame about the crabs. i was at llanddulas a few times last week and had the same problem with the crabs striping the baits
