Despite the heavy showers there was a good turn out of the Sunny Rhyl Hard Core Members Very Happy
The weather was a good mixture of heavy rain and sunshine but not to windy and spirits were high and we ignored the people who sat in their cars looking at us through wet windows as though we belonged in some kind of institution Exclamation

I think everybody caught at least one Pin Whiting so a mass blank was thankfully avoided although it wouldn't have mattered as the point of the exercise was to meet up with like minded nutters/anglers (you choose) and put faces to names and have a good bit of banter Very Happy
Mission well and truly accomplished Exclamation Very Happy
A great laugh was enjoyed by all and some top tips were swapped and shared cheers
As well as us locals that managed to turn out the session was made all the better by the fact that Syd had made the journey from Manchester and team Kirky had traveled up from Stafford to spend a few hours with us not forgetting Wild goose who came across from Cheshire and had been on the beach since 6am Exclamation
Gazmech made the journey from Wrexham and brought his son with him who caught his first fish so a HUGE well done to him cheers cheers cheers cheers

Thanks all for making the effort i hope you'll agree it was well worth it and we must do it again sometime Question cheers

Thanks for a great day out to all who were there. Sorry I didn't get to meet you all but time went to quickly, by the time I had had a chat to the people at our end of the beach they were going home at the other end. It was nice to see so many forum members there thanks Dave for getting everyone to turn out. Kirky and myself stopped until about 4pm by then the sea was well out. Got home about 6pm had a bite to eat opened the iPad to fined a great report of the day with some smashing pictures. Thanks once again for a very nice day I hope we all get the chance to do the same again sometime in the future. Thanks Dave and Paul for all the pictures they tell the story of the day very well.cheers
