How long have you been waiting to use that one Very good Whens Notbad 1 out next It's proving a bit of a slog....see what I did there! I've just invested in a parmaris gas lifejacket and a triple watch handheld vhf to back up the fixed radio so no intention of giving up on Notbad 1 but having spent more on the engine than its worth I'm not keen to spend any more on it, good strong engine when it runs but not a reliable starter and I can't relish the thought of fishing for 3 hours or so wondering if it will start come home time, come to the conclusion that a second hand engine plus a service is a long way towards just buying a new tohatsu outboard with a warranty, she came with an almost identical spare engine so I might just let an ex Navy engineer acquaintance have a go at building one good one from two possibly backing it up with a Flover Saltwater electric auxilliary, however with Winter creeping towards us I think I'll probably just park her up until The Spring and see what is in the piggy bank then. Over the Winter I plan to move the axle back to balance the trailer, also to make a couple of other mods. I'm thinking of building a scale model of the boat over the winter, but a suitable fibre glass model hull is about £40 for starters - Money which could just go in the engine piggybank Oh the joys of boat ownership, those charter trips make a lot of sense! |

I think they do For £28 you get a 5hr trip with copious amounts of tea and coffee plus hot food with a skipper who will put you straight onto the fish plus you haven't got any of the hastle of getting your boat in and out of the water and there's normally a good crowd on board especially if you book a few places and go with a bunch of mates Im trying to get Talkingbullhuss to come on a trip one day but he won't have it |

| Tim doesn't do boats - get's the dreaded sea sickness I think!
I know it's hard to believe for the lucky ones who have good sea legs but having suffered from bad hangovers and sea sickness, I would take the hangover any day - less severe! |

| Now there's a challenge - if somebody on a boat offered you a joyriders table, what would you do? Probably stay firmly sat down at all times and forget the tablet:) |
