Road trip day one 22/5/13

Got week of work .after a nice weekend away in Edinburgh ,my plan was to fish from Tuesday till sat morning ,sleeping in my car must be lol ... There was a nice surf blowing so decided to give pensarn a crack ...

Not big tide but managed to pump plenty little yellow tails with the odd big black, plus dig a bit of blowlug .bait sorted time for dinner before my two hr each side of high attack ...

Fished towards the pipes there were about four rods out ,it looked very bassie and couldn't wait to get my line wet,fishing two rods on Pennel rigs first cast both rods where twanging straight away missed them both . How bass manage to strip big lugworm baits of hooks and not get caught ,always puzzles me ....cast them back out again bingo....
First one 39 cm one for my frying pan lol

Next one a lot better ,also for the pan


Then they where gone as quick as they came .....

Then just before high I had another at 42 cm , he was a lucky one as got two for the pan and didn't won't them to go off in the car so he went back to grow bigger lol ....

Good start to my holiday ...my tea it was amazing fresh bass carnt beat it ....

Roll on tomorrow night night ......

Never mind the fishing that stew and spuds look tasty, bass don't look bad either. Just had my tea but i'm drooling. Those bass were well winkled too.
