I'd been hoping for Notbad 1's maiden launch on Sunday, but the forecast didn't look flat enough.
Throughout the night I kept checking the windspeed at Hilbre weather station - 22 knots...23 knots...24 knots... clearly Monday's forecast single figures wasn't arriving early and there was no way I was going to try her out in that (and I wasn't going to be around on the Bank Hol Monday to try again)

I did at least get her out for a tow around,



first time I've towed anything in my life but after a run around we got back intact and with her safely home on the drive I headed to PSC for a "look"

I wasn't the only one having a look - but it wasn't flattening off any.

Eventually two boats ventured out, "White Star"


and "Mytime" and I was very happy to jump in with Jason for a session



The photos really don't show just how "washing machine" mad it got around the banks on the flood,




First up a Flounder to me




Around 3 hours later Jason's finally showed up




Time for a wild ride back to base, that boat takes some punishment!

Hard luck on the launch pity you wernt at Colwyn Bay it was as calm as anything but you could see the white horses a few miles out where it was chopping up but better safe than sorry and at least your day wasnt a complete loss

Glad to see it on the move but a shame you didn't manage to get it in the water I'm sure it won't be long now. It looks good behind the car
