Must be mad 5/5/13

Wonted some more bass action fri night ,so decided on having no sleep and leave my house at nine o'clock to arrive at penmeanmawr to dig some blow lug ,then head of to dinas ....but had a plan b to fish kinmel because the strong gusting south Westlies would make Dinas a no no .the forecast was for the wind to drop later ....soon had a bucket full of lug and the wind was bad and your sheltered from south Westlies at penmeanmawr , but by time I spent a hour our so getting bait it seemed like it had dropped a fair bit.so decided to drive up to dinas , got there the sea was very rough so got back in my car and headed to kinmel bay ..arrived there at 2 45 am my eyes were shutting lol specialy having a hard day on site as well , so had a quick 30 mins power nap ....the sea looked spot on here but I didn't expect much because I haven't herd of many bass coming of this coast yet just the odd one here and there.the bass very late with such a cold spring ....



Cut long story short I fished two hour each side of high on running ledger rigs set up on size 2.o pennels with fresh bow lug baits coming back like new big blank .......decided to have look round mostyn on way home to get some crab for the freezer ,so decided to a have a quick chuck with one rod with the blow I got left while looking for crab

Then had a quick chuck with crab


I wonted to fish the flood for the plaice but had to get back home till next time ........

I'm going crazy waiting for these bass to come on and l'm looking every day on various sites for favourable catch report feedback. All been well I'll be having a session next weekend - likely Pen, Llandulas or KC - not decided yet?
