Well done that looks from your pictures a nice day out. The only thing is I think that is the same fish in both pictures the only thing is in the second picture it looks as if it's lost weight and your face seems to agree. It wasn't a blow up fish with an air leak was it?

The bit I do not understand is your expectations
of growth rate of plaice?
Your fish was less than 1lb yet you procjected
with in a couple off weeks it would have been 1 and a half pounds?
do fish work out or are they on steroids

well said.
its common knowledge to the proffesional angler that this time of year the plaice ARE spent after mating. when the've mated they come back into feed up on the crab which coinsides with the crab moult.
this year how ever the crab are late so their feeding on anyhthing you throw at them. they wont be table ready until you see the netters just of mostyn. which will be in another month's time.

I think it's a smashing fish I wish I'd caught it. I'm only jealous.
