Llandudno Pier..........again ! Empty
PostSubject: Llandudno Pier..........again !   Llandudno Pier..........again ! EmptyMon Nov 12, 2012 8:07 am

Had the usual trip to Llandudno Pier last Friday with seajunky. Started around 5pm with fish from the off (fished under the veranda of the bar) a bit awkward for casting but sheltered. Baits were Rag, salted Mack, live black and some of my top secret salted prawns.
Had a couple of take homeable cod, but put them back, well, tried to put them back but the drop killed them anyway !!!!
The doggies were all good size and took a lot of graft reeling in, the whiting were also around in plague proportions.
Highlight of the evening was steve shouting “come and ave a look at this !”£”er, I’ve got a conger” I went over and there was a doggie on the surface (apparently doggies look just like conger through varifocals !!!!

Heres some pics……..

Nice session there well done cheers
I would like to pass on a tip that I was shown for releasing fish from a pier etc
Pass the grip wire through the front of the gill then lower the fish when it reaches the water the lead will drop and release the fish Very Happy
