'My Time' Had Come!

Boat - My Time

I had a very generous invitation to join Jay onboard My Time for a day in the sun with the promise of a fish or 2.
We had an early start launching from Prestatyn Sailing Club.

Light tackle was the order of the day. Spinning rods all round with Bait Runners loaded with 8lb mono. 1oz bombs(Yes, 1oz) was all that was required to get the bait out there and hold bottom.
The only thing of any size were the hooks. 3/0 Wishbones and Pennels were loaded with whole Lug.

Clueless Too was out too!

A couple of half decent Flounder got us off the mark. Closely followed by the odd Dab and a lone Weever.
We tried several marks in search of something bigger though.

Success came in the shape of 2 schoolies

The fishing slowed over high, but the weather held so it mattered little

I borrowed a couple from Jay. Can't remember what they were now Smile

He was using 2 Berkley Cherrywood's.
