Left the house at two am arrived very sleepy at a wind swept beach at penmaenmawr . I must be mad thinking to myself and talking to my self when alone fishing , I must get an angling buddie as hardcore as me lol . Got kettle on nice cup of tea to wake me up after the two hr drive . Plan is to fish 2hr each side of low wile collecting blow lug . Sea looked real bassie

Wasn't long before two big fresh blow where sent to Davy jones locker on a two hook flapper set Pennel stile for bit of extra security so billy got better chance of staying hooked wile rod un attended wile digging .returned to rod twenty mins later

Cast out again then carried on with the job of getting more bait . Reeled in again one dogfish then third cast felt very heavy hauling this lot out of the surf

Then mid tide the action stopped . Got kettle on again bit of grub then got set up for two hr each side of high water assault ,this venue fishies pants in the day but good surf plenty of colour got me fired up that billy would put in a appearance

Fished hard two rods plenty bait not a sniff and my 525 was playing up wouldn't go in to free spool . Few fish nice to be out put would have been nice to have had a few bass for my trouble , next stop penrhyn bay .called in jokers for few bits and bobs and to strip my real and the usual leg pulling that you get in there, thanks for the cup of coffee me old . Wind was dropping and penrhyn looked sh@t hot , was met by my good friend dave gt thank good some one to talk to . Had a quick catch up and we where soon bait digging again there was plenty blacks to be had but not very good for pumping to muddy and to many stones ,so plan b spade and blow lug There was plenty to be had but nothing compared to the penmaenmawr bad boys .

Fished two hr each side of high me and dave had plenty dogs at this venue as well and a hand full of pin whiting wasn't the best session but it was calm and it was nice to see the rod twanging away roll on next time .

Hi Tim. If you fished two hrs up and two back it must have been your car i saw parked up when i was on my way home from North Shore at about 11 30. By the time you got home it must have been a 24hr session. BARKING? Anyway well done on the fish, well deserved.
Steve.
