I may as well post.

After getting bait arrived at North Shore with the mrs in tow at about 11am, high being around 2-45. Off went the wife into town as i tackled up. Fished two hook flapper 1/0 hooks, bait lug and sandeel. A tad windy at times but a great day for it. Quite a few after macks but i didn't see any caught. Only one good pull down as i was eating a bag of crisps, missed it. No fish but great to be out. The mrs returned at high so off we went for a meal before returning home. Not a lot to report but i may as well post.

Hard luck mate it was tough going there on monday, three hours and only two mackerel one dodgily hooked sand eel and a broken bucket to show for it.
Could have been worse for you though you could have been dragged around the shops with mrs donutbob !

Only spent £15 in M&S. As she's also stopped smoking she used the cig money she's saved, result.

No chance of that. Anyway she prefers to shop on her own. Iv'e been with her loads of times but her reaction is allways the same "why don't you go for a walk on the pier and watch the fishing" bless her.
