Five boats fished in really shitty conditions today in the Straits.
The wind was howling from the Bangor end and with all the fresh water coming into the Straits over the last few days, we didnt expect much!
Things started well , with 3 species for us in ther first hour from the hole near the monument.
As the flow reduced, so did the bites! The next 6 hours went by very slow, with several changes of location, but we managed to add another couple of species to our bag and at the weigh in we were top bag and we had the heaviest fish so picked up enough cash to cover our costs
We finished with a Huss, a Dog, a Codling, a Pout and a Rock Goby, and i picked up 3 new species for the hunt so im a happy man tonight, and it feels good to be home after several hours on the water in those conditions!
