Took advantage of a dry afternoon and went to the west of the island
yesterday, arrived about low to fish up till high, wasn't too confident
when i saw the chop on the water and i wasn't proven wrong when
all i had for the first three hours was dog after dog, gave up for the
last hour of light and had a go for the wrasse instead, had four but the
bites were a bit timid, not woke up properly yet.
Darkness fell so started chucking out big baits again, had a few dogs
but mercifully not as bad as in the daylight so a few huss were able to get
at my baits, had three in total, 3lb,6lb and one an ounce shy of 10lb
Sack the camera man !!
Packed up an hour after high,glad to get to a warm car !! it aint summer yet !!
