The Catch of The Century
A quick session at Low this morning,
just a hint of algae bloom on the tide line, guess we can blame that warm spell for that.
There will be worse washed up when the caravans fill up for Easter!
I'd only a spare hour to try out my new toys, nowhere better than the NBG mark
Century Tip Tornado Supermatch LD rung with Ks
Playing with drop length and technique I'm not quite getting the best out of it yet ( I chuck further with the Longbeam)
It feels real good to cast and the tip sat perfectly behaved as the flood gained pace, at one point it gave a little shimmer to tell me something wasn't right and on inspection the rig had wrapped around itself
The new Shimano was a revelation, the retreive was so strong yet smooth I honestly thought the grip lead had come off
50 minutes into the allotted hour and the tip gave a perfect bite registration that couldn't have been clearer if it had sent me a text
Not big, but just right for demonstrating the quality of The Century's bite detection.
