I ve had my trusty 525s for about six years now easy to use and service.i would never be withn out them. I am no expert pendulum caster i can hit 150 yards on grass and a bit shorter with a clipped down trace.I have just brought a 7 ht of ebay it the cheaper one out of the three models without the magnetic brakes. i brought it for clean beach fishing i would be interested to know if any of you lads have used one and what do you think. would you say they cast as good as our better than a penn 525 etc

use a single red block in it as andy said. and have a longer drop on the cast.

I`ve known a few 7HT users who`ve stripped the gears winding in lumps of weed or treble headers of doggies, I had one a good few years ago and had no trouble with it, but I`ve had 3 penn 525 mags since then and they`re a lot tougher.
