21 members fished on Saturday night at Tan Lan, with 18 weighing in, all 18 weighed in at least one rockling, but the only other species caught were a little flounder and a lone sea scorpion.
Norman Dorling found a rocklings` nest in the area around the `hump`, and came back with 13 for a winning weight of 1.24 kgs., well ahead of his nearest rival Gary Bates, who took 2nd place with 6 and a sea scorpion for 0.76. Dave Jones was 3rd with 5 for 0.51, and Bill McLintock 4th with 4 for 0.49. Steve Streetly and Wayne McGilloway had 3 each for 5th and 6th and the heaviest fish was Mark Hill`s flounder of 0.23 kgs.
Top team were Bill McLintock and Barry Haigh with 60 points.
