hi all
im going to have a go for a conger next week im thinking of going to amlwch as im taking my 13 year old lad .has anyone fished there lately any advice would be great as iv never fished there before.

if the weather is to bad to fish of the end of the breakwater you can fish at the bottom of the steps i would use big hooks and either bluey/maccy or squid
dont cast to far out say 5 9 yards
if you can fish out of the pens (where the pilot boat is moored) then cast to the opposite side landing about 10/12 ft short of the slates
or go to the left of the breakwater and follow the wall round to you come to the daleks ( concrete stumps) best to fish low water up
as with most conger marks be prepared to lose some leads i use rotton bottoms 10lb line or paper clips
