Friday Night, a good tide, light SSWly fished Low to High.
Bait, sticky lug, fresh lug, squid and..........some nice 'n' bloody sliced ox liver
Started well out beyond the kidney shaped boulder in front of Splash Point,
moving West to in front of the Alex as the flood pushed in.
A good tip pull down got the heart rate up, I lifted into it and began winding,
Wow! This sucker had guts and was fighting back, the ox liver must have come good.
I settled into the scrap, determined not to lose this one.
...glancing to my right, Mehmet was also into a good rod bend, must be a whole shoal of cod passing through....er oh ...it's not fish ...we've crossed lines that's all... still it was fun for a few seconds!
Mehmet did manage a rockling and later back at the non-flashing flashy light we both had good knocks that didn't connect;
Good to transplant from workaday to fishbynight and noses were red from lungs full of fresh Rhyl air but other than that it was tripe.
