Don't remember the seabreaker/groyn myself, nor the sand hills for that matter. Sounds likea great feature though. How east of Rhyl are you talking?

The remains of the old groyne sometimes uncover just west of splash point ( think flashy light area for those of us who fish there ) Back in the 1950`s the pleasure boats used to pick up from there.
