First misson was to go penryn bay but south eastlies put a stop to that,plan b mostyn fished towards the cemical plant three of us me dave and grayham. pully pennel rigs loaded with black squid and razor, crab activity was manic stripping big pennel baits to bare hooks in mins with this warm weather for time of year, needed peeler but couldnt get hold of any
first fish i had was a pin whiting well what was left of it crabs had stripped it to the bone, and my rig had only been in the sea for 10 mins.
cut a long story short all the times i have fished this venue its never fished this bad. four hr session two hr each side of low and this is all we had to show for our efforts
two whiting and a dab for me
and a insize dab for dave
grayham is a good match angler and all the times i have been fishing with him i have never seen him blank,thats how bleak it was role on westlie winds and cold frosty weather.
went up to conger man after to fish a beach in north wales i had one whiting he had plenty.
