Vivitar DVR 850w takes stills and video, comes without a bag and the 8G SD card was another £8odd on top, the screen isn't easy to see in daylight but for a first time out without reading the instructions I'm well pleased.

Lashed a camera mount to my tripod for stability, its only 5 megapixels but good enough for the price, huge advantage is it should resist the beach because its waterproof too,
in fact it works underwater ( down to 10 feet ) now there is real potential!

Wonder how far I could cast it!
