Beacon mix-up

A BOAT owner sparked a frantic search yesterday – by failing to keep up to date records. When his radio beacon went off, two lifeboat crews believed it was on a sinking, 34ft yacht and searched for the vessel shortly before 3pm. It was eventually found on the owner’s new craft, an unoccupied fishing boat in Rhyl harbour.
