after a bit of research we decided a mullet hunt after a change of tackle we headed of to the island got there and the weather was spot on slight breeze and sunny perfect after a long walk we decided to stop and start fishing out with the float and ready after about an hour i had a bite resulting in a micro bass

after a couple of these my dad was into a good fish (the best of the day) after a 5 minute fight we got it in and it was a good mullet weighing 3lb 2oz

then the mullet came on the feed

i was next in with a smaller one

then i hooked a better fish resulting in my biggest of the day weighing 2lb 13oz

after that the fish stoped feeding so we packed up and called it a day Very Happy
