Amlwch 10-04-10

I left the house at 5:15 am and headed up to Amlwch, called into Tellboys Tackle in Amlwch for some bait (he took some finding as he moved the shop a couple of weeks ago) anyway he gave me a couple of packets of rag and a couple of blow all the bait was good.

Got to the harbour to be greated by Gladiator who had changed his mind and got there before me.

We fished till about 3:00pm and the total catch was a small pollack, a scorpion fish and a starfish to me, glad unfortunately blanked, I tried all sorts of baits, squid, mackeral, bluey, prawns, rag, blow and black, nothing worked at all.

The fishing was poor but it was a lovely day to be out (apart from the piles of beer bottles on the grass where we parked).

We called at Dock road on the way home, I stayed till 11:30pm and left after catching nowt, Glad had a couple of flukes and I left him to it.
