If you mean an avatar ( like our club badge on the left ) under your name in the author column, go to profile near the top of the page.
Click avatar on the menu and you can insert your avatar here.
It must be within the size specs so i copied mine on photobucket and resized it for use as an avatar.
Paste the URL in the correct box, save it and it should work.
If you are talking about adding pictures to a post, as Joker says, read the tutorial sticky at the top of the reports section.
