Me and Gladiator went down to the blue bridge today, It was a glorious day.

It was a very high tide today which completely covered the lower part of the bank. The baits used today were mussel, rag, frozen black, sand eel, and Glad tried some peeler. By the end of the day we had only caught 1 fish which fell to one of my rods.

As I said it was a very high tide, and so it sucked all the rubbish off of the banks which flowed down the river as the tide started to ebb away

So I am afraid it was Sxxt stop play. But it was a very nice day, and it was good just to get some air and have a chat. Thanks Glad it was fun.

Mike re the bore. It was at the bottom of the tide, and we got there after that so we missed it.

Steve

I seem to remember someone telling me that the bore rushes in 1hr 50min before the big spring highs.

Does anyone know if this is correct?
