we all got aboard dignity at menai bridge pier,we was going to the hole at the gazell,but with a stiff nwind we changed the plan and went lower down
bites we instant with the doggies and small codling (6-9")
just before low water i had a codling of 1 1/2 lbs and we all thought that was a sign of better things to come sadly i had another one of 2 /1/2 lb and that was it for the half decent codling
cam was enjoying his first night trip with us and to be fair to him he fished very well indeed i lost count of the fish he caught but he enjoyed himself greatly 2 other lads came with dave ( nice to meet you lads)
we all put our bait on the table and shared what we had maccy/lug worm sandeel squid and razor fish
as the night went on it began to rain hard but with the new wings dave has fitted to the boat it made a great shelter for us anglers
dave was on hand with the brews and he made a stew for the lads ( cheers dave)
apart from the biting winds it was a good trip with only 5 small whiting showing (2 for cam and 3 for me
i think only to huss and cam got one of those

the boat is now fitted with lights that are just right for night fishing lighting up the deck nicely
looking forward to the next trip
